 Plot: A slave and a Viking prince fight for the love of a captive princess. Story: None Did you know: Althrough the plot is mostly historical fiction, there really was a king in Northumbira called Aella who usurped the throne and was soon disposed by invading vikings. It's worth to note that the name of the puppet king the vikings installed was called Egbert, which of course is the name of the English collaborator in this film. |
